I love any excuse to dress up. I met up with my friend, Colette, who is always dressed to the nines. I knew I had to keep up. Wearing my new romper from Express, we headed downtown and ate at the always delicious Bottega Louie for lunch.

Lunch was fantastic. I ordered the green tea arnold palmer, which had the perfect balance of sweet and tart, with that green tea crisp. We split some broccolini and chowed down on a classic Italian margherita pizza. 

Our waitress was so sweet and surprised us with a few macarons, on the house! We were delighted, and of course, will be coming back!

I've got to say, I am pretty obsessed with BareMinerals new lip collection, Gen Nude. They have over 60 new shades! I'm wearing the 'Swank' lip color in matte, and I love how it enhances my natural lip color and gives it that extra 'oomph,' while keeping it fresh.

My favorite part about this romper is how versatile it is! I can dress it up with some stilettos or heeled boots, or keep it casual with a pair of chucks or some cute loafers. The multiple colors and prints give you a lot of leeway to play with different shades for your accessories. I love yellow, so I decided to add some spunk and vibrancy with my bohemian bag from Hobo, a little class with my watch from Daniel Wellington, and a little 70s flare with my favorite sunnies from Raen!
