Where to Shop in Your 30s: Rent the Runway

Dress: Hutch via Rent the Runway, Sunglasses: Foster Grant, Boots: 4th & Reckless

Rent the Runway

The older I get, the more I love finding staple items that last and are of high quality, but I don’t always have the budget, especially when it comes to attending special events that require more upscale dressy attire. Enter Rent the Runway. I truly appreciate their variety of dress selections and are always a go-to for weddings & special occasions. A solid choice for the 30-something woman, Rent the Runways offers top-notch, high-end designers for rent, at a fraction of the cost. And they let you pick 2 sizes (excluding memberships) if you’re unsure of the fit. The clothes are, of course, always dry cleaned before every rental. You can rent items up to 4 or 8 days, depending on how long you need them.

Go Unlimited

If you can budget an extra $159 a month, the unlimited membership is the way to go. This is perfect for someone who attends a lot of events and/or likes to change out her closet often with the latest trends and designers. It’s like Netflix for dresses: you get to rent up to 4 items at a time, and switch them out as often (or as little) as you’d like with no due date (besides your membership). The icing on the cake? You also get the option to buy these pieces at a fraction of the cost!

There’s also a cheaper membership option for $89 a month. This allows you up to 4 items as well but with only one swap-out per month (and there are not as many selections to choose from as unlimited).

Want to try unlimited? Use my code KKEITHPERK40 to get 40% off your first month!! Huge savings!
