Recently, I purged my closet in celebration of the new year (plus there is little closet space in our home) and made a promise to myself to make better choices about the clothes I invest in and wear. So here’s to focusing more on the quality of the clothes, the people that make them, and the story behind them being made. How do the clothes make me feel? Are they sustainable and/or give back to the community? Am I willing to hang on to these clothes for years to come?

Par en Par checks all of these boxes, making it the perfect choice to shop for the 30-something. Their inspiration is in alignment with my approach to style: using resort wear to speak to the duality of their pieces by marrying the tensions of the everyday, relaxed, and casual to the elegant and dressy. Versatility is everything (to me), and Par en Par does that well. I can wear this same dress casually with some combat boots while running errands or dress it up for a girls night out.

All of Par en Par’s pieces are made from handwoven breathable cotton and are carefully sourced from sustainable weavers in India. It’s light, airy, and comfortable— all while still making me feel sexy and confident.
