Lunch Fave: Float Pasadena

This year is off to a crazy start. Amazing opportunities and auditions have already arose, coupled with emergency vet trips and family news. Life is full of ups and downs and sometimes it's good to just take some time for yourself. I met up with my friend, Coco, to catch up on such things at Float Pasadena, which is the perfect place for a little distraction and a delicious bite to eat.

Float is located in the Burlington Arcade alley in Pasadena, which mimics and is inspired by the Burlington Arcade in London (telephone box and all)! It's cute, charming and picturesque. The retro yet modern vibes reminds me of the local mom and pop cafe everyone goes to growing up (or on the daily to work).

Float Pasadena has plenty of sandwich, gourmet coffee (Coffee Manufactory), and high-end tea options, but the highlight is their variety of floats (you can even create your own) made with Fosselman's ice cream and specialty soda pops. The food is fresh and made to order and pastries are delivered daily from The Larder. I had the chicken pesto sandwich and s'mores float, and both were incredibly tasty! It hit the spot. This place is perfect for a lunch date, hangout/work from your laptop, or a bridal shower! I will definitely be back, as I have my eye on trying the strawberry pop float next!
